Blue Giant was founded in May of 1963 by Kurt Larsen, who saw a need for quality material handling equipment and loading dock systems. The company began by manufacturing dock levelers and hand pallet trucks, and by the end of the 70s, had expanded to multiple global markets with a variety of product offerings to meet high demand. Blue Giant continued to grow worldwide, introducing the first non-impact vehicle restraint to North America in 1985 and the XDS Extra Dock Safety Series in 2001. As its product line and global presence continued to expand, Blue Giant maintained its commitment to creating innovative and high-quality products. Today, Blue Giant is known as a global leader in developing, manufacturing, and distributing material handling equipment and loading dock safety systems.
